INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION OF DSUM

DSUM is an outward-looking and culturally-inclusive university that corresponds with exacting national and international standards in teaching and research. We have a wide range of international links and partnerships that enable our students and staff to participate in global education and research network. International relations of DSUM include cooperation with educational institutions in Europe, North America and Asia . Many of these interrelations provide international exchange opportunities for students and staff.

Our University appreciates and enhances international cooperation. During the last decade we hosted over 200 guests including lecturers, professionals and students from Europe, America and former Soviet Union countries.

International ties of DSUM are not limited to partner relations with universities and individual visits. We closely work together with USAID, TACIS, ACCELS, IREX, Alliance Francaise, DAAD, Soros Foundation, Fulbright and many other international education organizations.

Each year the University hosts Fulbright scholars providing both short-term and long-term courses covering business-related subjects, as well as carrying out joint research together with DSUM faculties.

 

 

 

International projects of DSUM:

The University considers international cooperation as an important priority and has been participating in international projects under TEMPUS and Jean Monnet programs since 2003.

  • 2003-2006 - the University was participating in Joint European Project TEMPUS CD JEP 23250-2002 “Master of Business Administration and Information Technology”
  • 2005-2006 - TEMPUS SCM_TO15B05-2005 “Workshops for Introducing Practical Approaches in Transforming Higher Education in Ukraine”

The current projects DSUM is involved under Jean Monnet program:

  • 2006-2009  – Elaboration of the module «European Economic Integration»
  • 2008-2009 – Conducting a set of the Advanced Study Institutes: “Europe's Evolving Security Architecture: Integration, Cooperation or Confrontation?”
  • 2009-2012 – Elaboration of the module: “European social policy and models of social partnership”

Donetsk State University of Management is open for new prospective partners and applicants from all over the world. We shall be glad to consider any partnership proposals and initiatives.
